KLOKWIZE Hartford-born rapper / songwriter Klokwize is well known for his work with LA rap icons Suga Free and DJ Quik (2017's 'A Little Respect') , his many songs and features on ESPN-TV networks, and his breakout 2012 album Hood Hippie (co-produced by Dom McLennon of Brockhampton). He is a 3-time CTNow Best Hip-Hop nominee and won 'Best Music Video' at the 2017 LA Film and Script Festival in Hollywood CA for his video 'Up Down' with Angela Luna.
2017's Permission To Land album paired Klok with superproducers UNCLE DAVE (Bruno Mars '24K Magic') and RESOURCE DAVINCI (Miley Cyrus 'Bang Me Box) and featured the hit single 'A Little Respect.'
IndieHipHop.com stated his 2019 album Dangerous Youth was 'sonicially a work of art' and it was followed by East of Exile EP the same year, which Medium.com states was 'unique, clever and musical... what makes ‘East Of Exile’ work so well is Klokwize is finally leaning into darkness.'
Blending modern lo-fi with hip hop lyricism, the rapper/singer (born Patrick O'Sullivan) has been seen across the US including dates on Vans Warped Tour, SXSW, Foxwoods Casino, Toad's Place, Oakdale Theater, The Observatory Sana Ana, Club Rubicon Las Vegas, and New York City's club circuit including The Bitter End, The Delancey and Nuyorican Poets Cafe.
